We rode well on a pretty hot summer day.

あるとても暑い日の事、一家でいつものように、お散歩ライドに出かけました。

Mugen, somebody's using your body as a shelter!

ムゲン、誰かさんが子亀さんになっていますよ！

Mugen: ?

ムゲン：へ？

Kuri: You make me feel so safe...

クリ：何かこうしてると落ち着くのよねー！いい感じ！

When Kuri gets tired while we're walking, she comes up to me and stares at me.

Then she gets her wish. Yes, this is what she wants.

クリは疲れると、必ず私の方へ来て、”乗せて～！”と熱い視線を送って来ます。

Kuri: Yippi~!  クリ：ヒヒヒ!

SHOPPING! お買い物！

Mugen: Hey, there!
ムゲン：ヘイ！

Mugen

Mugen: What are you doing Daddy?

ムゲン：パパ、何してんの？

Daddy is making new leash for you Mugen.

パパさん、ムゲンに新しいとっても強いリーシを作ってあげているんだよ。

パラシュートコードを使ってね。

Let's go shopping at the pet shop and show off the beautiful leash!

Mugen looks like a over grown child in the car...

早速、オニューのリーシでお買い物に出かけよう！
ムゲンの頭が車の天井ギリギリだよ！

Kuri: Hey, sit down Mugen!!  Bad manners!

Mugen: I AM! 

クリ：ちょっと、ちゃんと座んなさいよ！全くお作法ないんだから！
ムゲン：座ってら～ね！よく見ろ姉ちゃん。

Half of Mugen's body is sitting on the sheet and the other half is standing on the floor.

ムゲンのお尻はシートの上、上半身は車の床に直付き！

Kuri: Oh...my bad. Jeez, you are so big like a truck!!

Mugen: Yup, and I am lovable too!

クリ：あら、ほんと！何てデカいの、まるでトラックみたいじゃん！
ムゲン：おうよ、あたぼうよ！ええだろが！

Arrived at the pet store!

Kuri: Sale!! Smells OK too!

Mugen: ...Cheap food cheap taste.

ペッツマートに到着！
クリ：セールよ！匂いも悪くないわ！これにしましょう！
ムゲン：、、、けっ、おれ、安物は食わねえぜ！

Mugen: Don't forget to buy some goodies!!

ムゲン：スナックも忘れないでね！（突然言葉使いが丁寧になる。）

On the way home in the car..

Kuri: My turn! 

帰路についた車中。

クリ：今度はあたしが特等席！

This is what we got today at shop.

Mugen drinks water like crazy so

we got a BIG water bowl.

It's so big that Kuri can take bath in it!!

今日は、このお水を入れる食器を買いに行って来ました。

ムゲンのお水を飲む量が物凄いので、洗面器大の物が必要で！

クリには湯船にも出来るサイズ。ナンチャッテ！

BIKE RIDE! 自転車でお散歩！

We take Kuri and Mugen for a bike ride everyday.
毎日のように、一家で自転車付きのお散歩に出かけます。

I take Mugen, my husband takes Kuri.
クリは私と、ムゲンはパパと走ります。

Smell things together...
一緒にクンクンして、、、

...walk together...
一緒に歩いて

...and drink water together.
一緒にお水を飲み、


When Kuri gets tired...
クリが疲れると、、、

...she can get a ride in my basket.
She loves it!!
私の三輪車の後方バスケットに乗ります！
クリのお気に入り！

When we get back home they drink milk together.
お家につくと一緒にミルクを飲んで

And finally, rest together.
一緒に一休み。

They are definitely building a familyship!!
家族の絆を育んでまーす！

Backyard watch 裏庭パトロール隊

One beautiful summer morning,
Kuri and Mugen was walking out to their backyard.
ある爽やかな夏の朝、クリとムゲンは裏庭散策に出ました。

Kuri: "Do you smell that?"
Mugen: "Hmm?"

クリ：”何か臭わない？”
ムゲン：”そう？”

Mugen: "Let me see..."
ムゲン：”どれどれ、、”

Mugen: "I heard something..."
ムゲン：”何か聞こえた！！”

Kuri: "I see it now!"
クリ：”あ、見えたわ！”

Kuri & Mugen: "CATS!!!!"
クリ＆ムゲン：”隣の猫達！！！”

Their job is done.
どうも、お疲れ様！もういっちゃいましたよ！

Kuri looks so proud!
クリ：”私の裏庭、誰にも入らせません！”

Disciple Mugen continues patrolling their yard!!
弟子のムゲンは修行に励む！

BACK YARD GUARDIANS!!
我が家の、裏庭パトロール隊！！

Who is the boss "continue" どっちがボス？続編

Kuri and Mugen's snack time.
Kuri gets smaller piece and Mugen gets the bigger one.
またまたクリとムゲンのスナックタイム。
いつもムゲンに大きい方をあげます。
だって、ムゲンの体はクリの３倍ですものね。

Mugen feels someone is watching him...

誰かの熱い視線を感じるムゲン、、。

Kuri :  "Why do you have a the big piece?"
クリ：”ねえ、あんたのスナックちょっと大きくない？”

Mugen : "Because Mom loves me more."
ムゲン：”ママがくれたんだもん！”

When I came back to the room, Kuri had Mugen's piece..!!
Mugen didn't go after Kuri's piece but just watch her eat his.
So I gave him another and this is what he did...

手を洗って帰って来てみると、何とクリがムゲンのを横取りしていました！
ムゲンはただ黙って、クリが美味しそうに食べているのをみているだけ。
そこで、ムゲンにもう一度進呈。

Mugen secured himself in his crate.
Kuri was after him so I helped him close the door.

ムゲンは、スナックを掴んでケージに避難。
クリが追っていったので、ドアを閉じてあげました。

Mugen learning quickly how to survive in this family.
我が家での、サバイバルを身に付けていっているムゲンでした。

Mugen learns a new trick 無限 新しいトリックを学ぶ

This is Mugen's first attempt at  "choudai" (Please!May I have?).
Kuri showed him how to do it, but Mugen did this....

先輩クリ姉さんから教わりました！　”頂戴”です。
ところが、、無限ときたら、、、！！

Who is the boss? どっちがボス？

Shiba-inu Kuri and American Akita-inu Mugen, which one will play the boss in this family?
柴犬クリとアメリカン秋田犬　無限、どちらがボス役でしょうか？

I gave them a snack at the same time.
スナックを一緒に与えてみました。

They loved it!!
二人の大好物！！

I gave Kuri a smaller piece but Mugen still  finished his faster.
体の小さなクリには小さめのスナックをあげますが、無限の方が早く終わっちゃいます。

Mugen just watched Kuri still enjoying her snack.
He didn't even try to
take it away from her.
後は、クリが美味しそうに食べているのを見ているしかありません。
彼は、横取りしようなんて事は決してしません。

Then Kuri just snapped!

ところが、クリときたら！突然、威嚇しました！
クリちゃん、あねごを通り越してまるで牢名主。

Sad Mugen....
可哀想な無限。何にもしてないのにね、、。

But, he is a happy puppy no matter what!
それでも何でも、何故か無限はいつもハッピーなのです。
ええ子や！
