Kuri and Zoe are the best play mates and snuggle buddies.

クリとゾーイは遊び友達なんだけど、まったり仲間でもある。

 

Actually...Zoe wanted to snuggle but Kuri wanted to take care of her.

甘えん坊ゾーイと、世話焼きアネゴのクリ。

 

"Let see...sniff,sniff...." (Kuri)

’’どれどれ、ちょっと匂い嗅がせてみい、、、。’’ （クリ）

 

"Let's clean your ear..." (Kuri) ’’お耳の掃除しなくっちゃね、、。”（クリ）

"Yes, Momma.." (Zoe) ”はい、、ママ、、。” （ゾーイ）

 

Kuri's nose warmer. ^.^ クリの鼻マフ。ぶふふ。

 

I see that Kuri has some moments in deep thought...

クリ、いつもの哲学タイム。よくあるのよね。何を悟っているんだろう、、、？

 

Best buddies enjoying the afternoon.

見ているだけで、心ほのぼのになっちゃう我が家の2人組。とある日曜の午後の一服でした。

Sleeping Beauty Kuri! 眠り姫

One evening I was going to say good night to Kuri and found her sleeping.  Since she is so cute, I tried to reach for the camera very quietly to take her picture.

ある夜の事。クリに’’おやすみ’’を言おうと、クリお気に入りの拠点、クリケージに行くと、、！
あまりの可愛さに、これは是非カメラに収めねばと 静か～にカメラを構えた！

It is a challenge to be quiet because....
これがなかなかのチャレンジなのよ。

     ....Every time I try to take her picture...
何故って、、寝る子を起こすべからずといくら静かにカメラを向けても、、、

....Kuri could sense the small sounds and gets up.
                                           I really didn't want to wake her up in the middle of night.

こんな風に、すぐ起きちゃうのです。
きっと、針一本を絨毯の上に落としても、大きな棍棒がコンクリートの上に落ちたように聞こえるに違いない。

Oh..!!  I woke her up..!!
やっぱし、、、起きちゃった、、。

''What...?'' (Kuri)
''Don't get up. Just go back to sleep. Night night!''  :D (Mom)

’’なに～？’’（クリ）
’’寝な～クリ～。何でもないよ～。’’（ママ）

If I wake Zoe up...

ゾーイを起こすと、どうなるか。

...She just goes right back to sleep.

’’な～んだ。’’って感じですぐ寝もどります。

クリの寝てるとこって凄く可愛いから、写真一杯あるけど、どれも抜き足差し足ムーブで撮ったのよ～。我が家の眠り姫達でした～。

Let's play! もっと！

Papa came to the back yard to pick Kuri up and take her in.
Look at her face! She doesn't want to go home yet.
When she wants to say something, her right eye twitches.

庭で遊んでいるクリをパパが迎えに来た。
この顔！　クリが何か言いたい時って、必ず右のお目目が小さくなるのよ！

''What do you want Kuri?'' (Papa)
''This...'' (Kuri)

’’何だよ？’’　（パパ）
’’これ、、、。’’　（クリ）

''Let's play with this!!'' (Kuri)

’’これで遊ぼう、パパ！’’（クリ）

''Here..!'' (Kuri)

’’はい！’’　（クリ）
’’はい’’って、、、、。寒いんよ～！（Ｔ＾Ｔ）

It was cold and still snowing but Papa threw the ball a couple of times for Kuri.

寒さにも負けず、、、パパは娘の為にボールを放ってあげた、、、。

''I'm back..ha..ha...'' (Kuri)

’’ただいま～！’’　（クリ）

''Here...'' (Kuri)
   ''Again..?'' (Papa)

’’はい！’’（クリ）
　　’’また～？’’（パパ）

''Yes!! Grab this ball!!'' (Kuri)
   ''......I'm cold. I'm not wearing my gloves..'' (Papa)

’’そうよ、ほれほれ、はよ、、！’’　（クリ）
　　　’’だって寒いんだもん。手袋してないし、、。’’（パパ）

Papa dropped the ball because his hands was numb.
''Oops...let me get this for you..''(Kuri)

あまりの寒さに手がかじかみ、ついにボールも取り落とすパパでした。
’’おっとっと、、、と。あたしに任せて、、。’’（クリ）
 

''There you go!'' (Kuri)
   ''Thanks...let's come back later ok?  It's getting cold.'' (Papa)

’’はい、どうぞ！’’（クリ）
　　’’もう冷え込んできたから帰るぞ。また後でな。’’（パパ）
ほんとに、ご苦労さんです、、、。

''.............'' (Kuri)

’’、、、、、。’’　（クリ）

''All right..let me shake off the snow..'' (Kuri)

’’んじゃ、いいわ。ちょっと待ってて。雪を落とすからさ、、。’’（クリ）

Wow! Kuri, you looked like  ''Gizmo'' for a second..!

わお、クリ！何だか一瞬、ギズモに見えちゃった！

CUTE!!

皆さん覚えてる？この可愛いギズモちゃん！

It's snowing!! Yes!
待ちに待ったクリの大好きな大雪の日！！

         Brother N0.2 going to work. He has no time for play, Kuri.

’’兄貴、遊ぼうよ！雪だよ～！何処行くだべか～？’’（クリ）
（何故か雪の日は東北弁が似合う）
兄貴は山へ芝刈りに、、、じゃなかった、サロンへお仕事に行くのよ～！
遊んでいるひまはないのよ、クリ。貧乏暇無しよ。

’’じゃ、楽しんで来てね！あたしもここで遊んでるからさ！バイバイ！イッピ～！’’（クリ）

除き間やっちゃだめよ～クリ～、誰もいませんよ～。

クリがバニー化しちゃった。

Proud Shiba Inu Kuri in her yard!!
日本犬、柴ちゃん、って感じ。雪の背景似合うな～！

この頃柴犬がこちらでも、とっても人気。
でも、悪徳業者に際限なくブリードして欲しくないな。
劣勢遺伝子の子達が多く生まれると可愛そうだから。
最後には犬達にいつもしわ寄せが来るの。

Figure skater kuri! クリ フィギュアスケーターデビュー！

We had a snowy day after a big rain.
The rain puddle froze over night made a little ice rink.

大雨の後の雪の日。庭の水溜まりが凍って、スケートリンクが出来ました！

Kuri's favorite ball.....

クリのお気に入りのボールも、ペッカーン、と凍り付いています。

She got it out no problem.

ちゃんと丁寧に取り出しました。

She is so smart not to run on ice. She always ran around it.

そして、ちゃ～んと凍った所を避けて遊ぶ頭の良いお嬢様です。

But...Papa put the ball on the ice...

そんなクリにパパはちょいと悪戯心をくすぐられました。

''Kuri, go get it!!''　(Papa)

''Gotcha!'' (Kuri)

''Here you go Daddy! I got it!!'' (Kuri)
''Good Girl!!'' (Papa)

''パパ、取って来たよ！’’　（クリ）
’’いい子だな～！’’　（パパ）

 Papa put ball on ice again.

パパはまたボールを氷の上に乗せます。

She got it again for Papa..

滑りながらも、ボールを取って来ましたよ。

....But this time....

でも今回は、、、

Kuri refused to give it back to Papa.
''No more ice walk. I had enough!'' (Kuri)

パパに返すのを拒否。
’’パパにはもうあたしのボール貸してあげない、、。もう、氷の上は結構です！’’　（クリ）

So they did what Kuri liked to do.

というわけで、二人はクリの好きな遊びに切り替えました。
