It's already February!  Well that means.....Valentines!!
A pretty red cape for Kuri.

いや～！早いものでもう２月ですな～！
そう、２月と言えば、、バレンタインですね～！

Does she look Valentine-ish?

どう？バレンタインっぽい、、、？

Or does Kuri look like a  mom howling at the kids for dinner?

それとも、母ちゃんが、子供達に　’’ご飯だよーっ！’’って叫んでるみたい？

How about a mom trying to remember what buy at the grocery store? (Kuri bought beef jerky and it's in her little basket)

、、、買い物リストをチェックしてるママさんかな？（ジャーキーはちゃんともう買ってあるようです。）

とは言ったものの、、なんだか、、ひょっとして、柴ちゃんは’’艶っぽい’’って感じじゃないかも、、、。
 
I bought a ''Red riding hood'' costume last Halloween and she didn't wear it.  Today I thought, ''Hmm, maybe she can use it for Valentines.''  So I kind of played around with her....

去年のハロウィーンに’’赤頭巾ちゃん’’のコスチュームを買ったんだけど、私の不在で着せませんでした。　もったいないので、真っ赤なサテンだし、バレンタインで使えるかな、、？と、思って遊んでみました、、。

パパがクリに新しいおもちゃ、某ペットショップコマーシャルで有名な’’ボボ’’を買って来てくれまた。

She is playing ''Doctor'' to dissect Bobo.

お医者さんごっこが大好きなクリ。手術中。

She took Bobo's organ out successfully.

臓器摘出に成功しました！

Almost done.

Doctor Kuri has done a good days work!

Papa took Kuri for a walk クリ、パパとお散歩

Kuri is hibernating on the couch as usual.
クリ、カウチの上で冬眠中。

When she gets bored....
ちょっと退屈になったので、、パパを散歩にお誘いしました。

...Kuri speaks out her feelings.
’’お散歩行きたいんだけど、、。’’（クリ）

Papa quit watching TV  for his daughter.
パパは愛娘の為に大好きなテレビ番組も中断して（うそ）、二人してお散歩に出かけた。

いつもの公園に来た！

Daddy-long-legs!
足長おじさんごっこをしたり、、

Kuri smells everywhere to collect info.
匂いをかいで、情報を徴収した。

And smells....
嗅いで、、、

また嗅いで、、、

Kuri is in deep thought...after all the smelling.
物思いにふけった。

そして、一句浮かんだ。

冬の池
凍る木の葉を
踏み散らす

When they come back home, Kuri was so happy and saying ''Thank you Papa!!'' in her own way.
クリなりにパパにお礼をと思ったようだ。

まったく、ありがた迷惑なお礼だ。

’’おっと！’’（クリ）　ずりこける乙女。

After the nice walk, our dinner was ''Kimuchi soup''.
今日のお夕飯は寒い日にぴったりのキムチ鍋。

This is for Kuri.  Cod fish, chicken, and winter vegetables in fish soup stock.
クリのお鍋。　タラ、鶏、冬野菜入り。

The soup was so warm and yummy she went right to sleep!  Night night..!
しっかり暖まったね。おやすみ～！

Therapy セラピー

Today is a nice sunny holiday afternoon (9 degrees F / -12 C) outside.   But inside the house is a warm paradise.

Our two wise men are enjoying a little puddle of sunshine next to the window.

とっても気持ちよく晴れた、ある休日の午後。　外はマイナス１２度。
でもお部屋の中はパラダイス！　我が家の、二匹の長老も陽だまりを満喫中。
